So I was watching Jimmy Kimmel last night and witnessed this sequence of commercials. Watch it and tell me that the marketing geniuses behind Burger King's advertising didn't set up this group of three commercials to air like this on purpose. First of all, when have you ever seen one commercial inadvertently interrupt another commerical? Sure, you catch the very end of a commercial that has been overlapped by another every now and then, but not one stuck right in the middle. I work in TV and watch alot of TV and have never seen something like that happen before, nor can I imagine a scenario in which it would as a mistake. Plus, sour cream!? I mean come on. And then the Burger King tag comes in perfectly again at the end, without any words being cut off. And then the third commercial with the drop of "shampoo". This, to me, is Burger King very cleverly doing some subliminal sex jokes. Very smart. Am I thinking about it too much? Am I just crazy?
