Children, Parents, Single, opposite, same, question

Question to single or same sex parents with children of the opposite sex?

By that I mean a dad raising a daughter on his own, or two lesbians raising a little boy, or vice versa.
When it comes time to talk to them about puberty and sex, do you/will you talk to them yourself, or bring an adult of the same sex as the child - an aunt or uncle, perhaps - and ask them to do the honors? Or something else?
Just curious - I'm married and straight, so it doesn't really apply to me. I just know most parents try to have the dad give the talk to the boys and the mom give the talk to the girls.

I would have no problem giving my daughter a talk (she's still a little young at this point). I'm married myself but if I were single I would offer to get a female family member or friend answer any girl specific questions I don't have the answer to. I think the basics are the same for boy or girl.

Okay i just asked a few sex questions a few minutes ago and there were a few people who had like sex when they were 12 to 14 first timers. When you do it that young how do you do it like where when and how. I mean i know nobody tells their parents but where would you do it without getting caught, and like how do you get it past your parents they will probably notice your not there.

Just explain if you did it and you are one of those people and if you are not and you have a suggestion say that you are suggesting it and yah. Thanks so much

when i lost my virginity, my mom thought i was spending the night at my friends house... my friend picked me up but then i went to have sex with my guy... i was 16.

Robyn Few, a native of Kentucky, USA, ran away from home at age thirteen and later became an exotic dancer. After marrying and having a daughter in her twenties, she began to take college courses in the hopes of earning a degree in theater arts. She went to California in 1993 to pursue theater and become an activist. Acting and activism not being the highest paying jobs, Few turned to prostitution to pay the bills in 1996. She has worked tirelessly as an advocate and caregiver for medical marijuana and AIDS patients and has gained quite a reputation in the Bay Area activist community as an effective lobbyist for the issue. In June of 2002, the FBI arrested Few, under the direction of the US Attorney General John Ashcroft. Using the Patriot Act, Ashcroft was able to equate terrorism with prostitution and get additional funding for the very expensive investigation. She was convicted on one federal count of conspiracy to promote prostitution and received six months house arrest, which she finished serving in June 2004. Judge Marilyn Hall Patel allowed Few to continue her activism and volunteer efforts while under house arrest. Dubbed the "patriotic prostitute," a campaign centered on the idea that prostitution should be decriminalized to protect women from violence began in October 2003 with The Sex Workers Outreach Project www.swop-usa.org. Question by Court: What is the easiest way to explain to my friend that I don't want to have sex with her?

With dating someone now, I no longer want to sleep with her. As great as the sex was, I am starting to prefer the opposite sex much much more. I don't want to hurt her feelings, and I still want to have drunken sex with her-just not so casually now I suppose.

Is it legal for me, as an ordained minister to marry a same sex couple?

I'm only wondering about my side of the union. The minister signs to marriage certificate, so without the couple actually filing the certificate with the state, the union is never legal as per the state, but legal as per the church. What I'm wondering is if it is actually against the law for me so perform a marriage to a same sex couple. Note: the state the union would be performed in is Minnesota.

I believe you can marry them in the church. But you are correct in that the State would not recognize the marriage as they cannot legally get a Marriage license. As such, it would likely be illegal to sign the license if they somehow got one.
